From the shores of Dorio, on a clear day, it is possible to
enjoy the gorgeous view of the Pre-Alps
and the enchanting landscape of the Como Lake at a single
glance.
The railway running beside the building has nowadays become
a sort of artificial barrier, in that it helps preserving
the natural beauty of the shores of Dorio.
By car or simply walking, through steps and paths that, starting
from the town and passing under the railway, go down to the
lake, it’s easy to reach these uncontaminated shores,
extending for about 4 km.
Quite and clean, the shores of Dorio are an ideal destination
for those who want to have a nice walk or want to bath in
the clear waters of this part of the Como lake.
